Natural (The Special Goodness Album)
''Natural'' is the fourth studio album by American alternative rock band The Special Goodness, released on May 22, 2012 on Surf Green Records. Upon the album's release, Patrick Wilson noted, "You can get a six-inch turkey from Subway and be happy for thirty minutes, or get the new The Special Goodness and be happy forever." Background and recording The album was recorded solely by founding member Patrick Wilson, with Wilson noting, "At some point, I just sort of stopped trying to make he Special Goodnessa band and just said, 'I'm not going to be happy unless I do everything myself,' which is totally ironic because that's not really my personality." Release Prior to its release, the album was available to stream on Spotify. The only physical copies available are CD-R's produced by amazon on demand. The Special Goodness
The Special Goodness is an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1996 by Weezer drummer Patrick Wilson. The band's line-up has included Atom Willard (drums), Weezer bassists Mikey Welsh and Scott Shriner, Pat Finn, Jeb Lewis, Lee Loretta, and Murphy Karges. The band's name comes from a description of how Wilson apparently feels when he creates music. In May 2012, Wilson released the project's fourth studio album, ''Natural''. Land Air Sea
''Land Air Sea'' is the third album by The Special Goodness. It was originally released in February 2003 by N.O.S. Recordings and a remastered, remixed, and re-ordered edition was released on Epitaph Records on January 20, 2004. The original N.O.S. version had three different covers while the Epitaph version just has one. Patrick Wilson considers this to be his "first true release" despite it being the third official Special Goodness album. Personnel Patrick Wilson appears on vocals, guitars and bass and Atom Willard appears on drums. On this album, Wilson worked with many in-studio personnel that often worked with Weezer. The album was mixed by Pinkerton mixer Joe Barresi, who also mixed the band's Christmas EP '' Winter Weezerland''. Patrick George Wilson (born February 1, 1969) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as the drummer and co-founding member of the rock band Weezer, with whom he has recorded fifteen studio albums.
