The National Union of Bibliophiles (NUB), full name Non-Commercial Partnership “The National Union of Bibliophiles” (russian: Некоммерческое партнерство “Национальный союз библиофилов”), is a public organisation, an association of bibliophiles of the Russian Federation. It was formed as legal entity in 2010. History of foundation NUB’s history starts in 1990, when the Organisation of Russian Bibliophiles, ORB (russian: Организация российских библиофилов, ОРБ) was chartered, which had united on an informal basis around 100 lovers of antique rare books. A successful 20-years period of the life of ORB (it organised more than 10 exhibitions and issued over 200 printed works) was finalized in 2010. Mikhail Vadimovich Seslavinsky (russian: Михаи́л Вади́мович Сеславинский; born 1964) is a Russian researcher in book culture, a bibliophile and public figure. Biography Born February 28, 1964 in the city of Dzerzhinsk (now in the Nizhny Novgorod Region), Seslavinsky graduated with a degree in history from the N. I. Lobachevsky Gorky State University (now N. I. Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod). ''Pro Knigi'' (''About Books'') (russian: Про книги. Журнал библиофила) – is a quarterly educational magazine that contains information about old books, the study thereof, the history of bibliophiles and the problems of book-collecting. It has been published in Moscow since 2007. The circulation of the magazine is about 2000 copies. It is distributed both by retail and subscription. Founding ''Pro Knigi'' was supposed to be the keeper of traditions in the bibliophile period press of the early twentieth century.
