National Skills University
National Skills University Islamabad ( ur, ; commonly referred to as NSU), is a degree awarding institution upgraded from a TVET institution formerly known as National Institute of Science and Technical Education. NSU is a public sector university established by Federal Government of Pakistan under the ''National Skills University Islamabad Act, 2018''. NSU is recognized by HEC and is accredited by National Technology Council. Internationally, NSU is also a part of UNESCO-UNEVOC network member. Muridke ( Punjabi, ur, ), is a city and headquarters of Muridke Tehsil of Sheikhupura District in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the 53rd largest city of Pakistan by population. The Islamabad Capital Territory ( ur, , translit=Vafāqī Dār-alhakūmat) is the only federal territory of Pakistan. The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is an initiative of Universitas Indonesia which is being launched in 2010. As part of its strategy of raising its international standing, the University hosted an International Conference on World University Rankings on 16 April 2009. It invited a number of experts on world university rankings such as Isidro Aguillo (Webometrics), Angela Yung-Chi Hou (HEEACT), and Alex Usher (Educational Policy Canada). It was clear from the discussions that current criteria being used to rank universities were not giving credit to those that were making efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and thus help combat global climate change. Sheikhupura ( pa, ; ur, ) also known as Qila Sheikhupura, is a city in the Pakistani province of Punjab, Pakistan, Punjab.
