Muridke ( Punjabi, ur, ), is a city and headquarters of Muridke Tehsil of Sheikhupura District in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the 53rd largest city of Pakistan by population. Muridke is situated near the city of Lahore, at an elevation of 205 m (675 ft) and is situated on the Grand Trunk Road. Iqbal Masih
Iqbal Masih ( pa, اقبال مسیح; 1983 – 16 April 1995) was a Pakistani Christian child labourer and activist who campaigned against abusive child labour in Pakistan. Chand Bagh School
Chand Bagh School is an independent boarding school for boys at Muridke in Sheikhupura District, Punjab, Pakistan, approximately 40 km north of Lahore. The school opened in September 1998, having been conceived as a Pakistani version of The Doon School of India. The name "Chand Bagh" refers to the Doon School's estate at Dehradun, India. Sheikhupura District
Sheikhupura District ( pa, ; ur, ), is a district located in Lahore Division of Punjab Province, Pakistan. Sheikhupura is the headquarters of Sheikhupura district. According to the 1998 census of Pakistan, the district had a population of 3,321,029 of which 25.45% were urban. In 2005 one of its subdivisions was split off to form the new Nankana Sahib District. Fixed telephony The area codes in Pakistan consists of two to five digits; generally smaller the city, longer the prefix. All large cities have two-digit codes. The smaller towns might have six digital whereas big cities have seven digit numbers. Azad Kashmir telephone lines contain five digits. On 1 July 2009, telephone numbers in Karachi and Lahore were changed from seven digits to eight digits.
