Muridke Tehsil
Muridke ( Punjabi, ur, ), is a city and headquarters of Muridke Tehsil of Sheikhupura District in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the 53rd largest city of Pakistan by population. Muridke is situated near the city of Lahore, at an elevation of 205 m (675 ft) and is situated on the Grand Trunk Road. In 2005, Muridke became the headquarters of the newly created Muridke Tehsil of Sheikhupura District. Schools Chand Bagh School is situated on the Muridke-Sheikhupura road. Chand Bagh School
Chand Bagh School is an independent boarding school for boys at Muridke in Sheikhupura District, Punjab, Pakistan, approximately 40 km north of Lahore. The school opened in September 1998, having been conceived as a Pakistani version of The Doon School of India. The name "Chand Bagh" refers to the Doon School's estate at Dehradun, India. History and name The origins of the school lie in the independence of Pakistan in 1947 and the series of Indo-Pakistani wars and conflicts which have since followed. Imran Nazir ( pa, ) (born 16 December 1981) is a Pakistani former cricketer who played for the Pakistan national cricket team between 1999 and 2012 primarily a hard hitting opening batsman. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). The Grand Trunk Road (formerly known as Uttarapath, Sarak-e-Azam, Shah Rah-e-Azam, Badshahi Sarak, and Long Walk) is one of Asia's oldest and longest major roads.
