National Highway 119A (NH-119A) or Patna-Arrah-Sasaram highway is a proposed 4/6-lane wide national highway in Bihar, India. The NH-119A starts from Sadisopur in Patna district to Suara near Dehri-on-Sone in Rohtas district, via Arrah in Bhojpur district. This highway mostly runs along Sone river. Dehri also known as Dehri-on-Sone is a Nagar parishad and corresponding community development block in Rohtas district in the state of Bihar, India. Situated on the Son River, Dehri is a large industrial town and a railway hub. Etymology The name Dehri-on-Sone is based on the sone river. The city is situated at the bank of the sone river. The National highways in India are a network of trunk roads owned by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. National highways have flyover access or some controlled-access, where entrance and exit is through the side of the flyover, at each intersection of highways flyovers are provided to bypass the city/town/village traffic and these highways are designed for speed of 100 km/hr. Arrah (also transliterated as Ara) is a city and a municipal corporation in Bhojpur district, India, Bhojpur district (formerly known as Shahabad district) in the Indian state of Bihar. Bhojpur district is one of the thirty-eight districts of the Indian state of Bihar. Arrah town (also known as Ara) is the administrative headquarters of this district. Son River ( hi, सोन नदी, also spelt Sone River) is a perennial river located in central India.
