Nathan Elasi
Nathan Michael Elasi (born 18 November 1989 in Sydney) is an Australian footballer who plays for Sutherland Sharks FC in the NSW National Premier Leagues Mens 1. Club career Elasi was named Golden Boot winner in the Football NSW Grade 20 league with Marconi Stallions in their 2006–2007 season. Melbourne Victory He was signed by Melbourne Victory in January 2008, as a recruit for Victory's 2008 AFC Champions League campaign, primarily as a back-up for first choice strikers, Archie Thompson and Danny Allsopp. Originally recommended to Ernie Merrick by fellow Young Socceroos player Sebastian Ryall, Elasi had since impressed in club training with his pace, positioning and his ability to use his body. AFC Champions League
The AFC Champions League (abbreviated as ACL) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation, and contested by Asia's top-division football clubs. It is the most prestigious club competition in Asian football, played by the national league champions (and, for some nations, one or more runners-up) of their national associations. 2008–09 A-League
The 2008–09 A-League was the 32nd season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the fourth season of the A-League competition since its establishment in 2004. Two new clubs, North Queensland Thunder and Gold Coast Galaxy had received tentative licences from the FFA but these were revoked for the 2008–09 season on 12 March 2008. Expansion plans are on hold until the 2009–10 season. AFF U19 Youth Championship
The AFF U-19 Youth Championship is an annual international football competition contested by the national teams of the members of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) and occasionally invited nations from the rest of Asia. The tournament was previously played at under-20 level (except in 2003 it was held a special under-18 competition), however the AFF followed the lead of the Asian Football Confederation after they renamed its U-20 competition to fall in line with FIFA's naming conventions and also to reflect the age of the players at the competition. Thailand were the champions in the first ever edition in 2002. Bankstown City FC is an Australian soccer club from the Sydney suburb of Sefton in New South Wales, Australia. The National Premier Leagues NSW is a semi-professional soccer competition in New South Wales, Australia. Melbourne City Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in the south–eastern Melbourne suburb of Cranbourne East, that plays in the A-League, the top level of Australian soccer, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). Sebastian "Seb" Ryall (born 18 July 1989) is an Australian professional football (soccer) player who plays as a defender, most recently for Sydney Olympic.
