Natasha Andrea Oon (born 10 September 2001) is a Malaysian professional golfer who competes on the Epson Tour. Amateur career Oon, born 2001, is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. When she was just 12 years old, she won a brand new Volvo XC60 after making a hole-in-one at the 40th RSGC Ladies Amateur Open Championship. She played in the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia in 2016 and 2017, and made the cut to finish 74th and 67th respectively. She represented Malaysia at the 2018 Asian Games and the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, securing a silver medal in the team event at the latter together with Ashley Lau Jen Wen. Oon enrolled at San Jose State University in 2018 and played with the San Jose State Spartans women's golf team until 2022. Kelly Tan (born 26 October 1993) is a Malaysian professional golfer who competes on the LPGA Tour. Tan is a former member of the Malaysian junior national team. Golf At The 2024 Summer Olympics – Qualification
This article details the qualifying phase for golf at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Sixty players for each of the men's and women's tournaments qualified for Paris 2024 based on the official IGF world ranking list of 17 June 2024 (for men) and 24 June 2024 (for women). The top 15 world-ranked golf players were selected by name and secured their Olympic places, respecting the four-player limit per NOC. The remaining spots were awarded to the players ranked beyond the top fifteen on the list with a maximum of two per NOC. The IGF guaranteed that at least one golfer qualified from the host nation and at least one from each continent (Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania). World Amateur Golf Ranking
The World Amateur Golf Ranking for men was introduced by The R&A, the governing body of the sport of golf outside the United States and Mexico, on 23 January 2007. It is based on the results of over 2,600 amateur tournaments per year (and amateurs participating in certain professional events) and is updated each Wednesday. Rankings are based on the players' average performances in counting events over a rolling period. This period was 52 weeks initially but was gradually expanded during 2016 to 104 weeks, similar to those of the Official World Golf Ranking. 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup
The 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup was a team golf competition to be held from 1–3 July 2022 at Golf Club de Genève, Vandœuvres, Switzerland. It was the 26th time the event had been contested and the fifth under the new format in which women golfers play in addition to men, and the United States plays an international team. The international team won the match 33–27. Format The contest was played over three days. On Friday, there were 12 mixed four-ball matches. On Saturday there were 24 foursomes matches, 12 in the morning, six all-women matches and six all-men matches, and 12 mixed matches in the afternoon. 24 singles matches were played on Sunday.
