Nataliya Kononenko
Natalia Alexeyevna Kononenko ( uk, Наталія Олексіївна Кононенко; born 25 August 1994 in Kyiv) is a retired Ukrainian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She is a two-time European bronze medalist on the uneven bars. Career Junior Kononenko competed at the 2008 Junior European Championships and helped the Ukrainian team finish seventh. She qualified for the uneven bars and balance beam event finals where she finished eighth and fourth respectively. She also competed at the 2009 Gymnasiade in Doha where the Ukrainian team won the bronze medal behind Russia and Italy. Individually, Kononenko finished seventh in the all-around. In the event finals, she won the silver medal on the uneven bars behind Aliya Mustafina and finished eighth on the balance beam. Aliya Farkhatovna Mustafina (russian: Алия Фархатовна Мустафина) is a Russian former artistic gymnast. With a combined total of 45 Olympic, World and European Championship medals, she is considered one of the most successful gymnasts of all time. She is the 2010 all-around world champion, the 2013 European all around champion, the 2012 and 2016 Olympic uneven bars champion and a seven-time Olympic medalist. Mustafina has tied with Svetlana Khorkina for the most won by a Russian gymnast (not including Soviet Union women's national artistic gymnastics team). Ukrainian female gymnasts have competed in every Olympics since 1996. A total of 23 female gymnasts have represented Ukraine at the Olympics, but the only medalist is Lilia Podkopayeva. Lilia Podkopayeva won a total of 3 medals at the 1996 Summer Olympics, and she was the first multiple Olympic medalist from Ukraine. In the team competition, Ukraine finished 5th in 1996 and 2000, 4th in 2004, and 11th in 2008. The 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held in Tokyo, Japan, from October 7–16, 2011, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. The qualifications round of the women's artistic gymnastics competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held at the North Greenwich Arena on July 29. The top 8 teams advanced to the team final, the top 24 gymnasts (with a limit of two per country) to the individual all-around final, and the top 8 gymnasts on each apparatus (with a limit of two per country) to the apparatus finals. Anastasia Grishina
Anastasia Nikolayevna Grishina (russian: Анастасия Николаевна Гришина) (born 16 January 1996) is a former Russian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the silver medal winning Russian team at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and the 2013 European all around bronze medalist. Junior career 2010 In April, Grishina competed at the European Championships in Birmingham, United Kingdom. She placed second in the all around competition with a score of 56.950. In event finals, she placed first on uneven bars scoring 15.375 and first on floor scoring 14.275. Grishina did not compete for the rest of the year because she was resting a sore back. Viktoria Aleksandrovna Komova (russian: Виктория Александровна Комова; born 30 January 1995) is a former Russian artistic gymnast. She is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won silver medals in the all-around and team events at the 2012 Olympics. She is also the 2011 world uneven bars champion and all-around silver medalist, and the 2015 co-world champion on uneven bars. London Prepares series is the banner under which the test events for the 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games were held. The events which make up the series took place in 2011 and 2012.
