Natalia Liwycka-Chołodna
Natalia Andriyivna Livytska-Kholodna (June 15, 1902, in Zolotonosha – April 28, 2005, in Toronto) was a Ukrainian poet, best remembered for her poems ''Vohon' i popil'' (1934), ''Sim liter'' (1937) and ''Poeziji stari i nowi'' (1986). Zolotonosha
Zolotonosha ( uk, Золотоноша , yi, זאלאטאנאשא) is a city located in Cherkasy Oblast (region) in central Ukraine. Located at around , the city serves as the administrative center of Zolotonosha Raion (district). It hosts the administration of Zolotonosha urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Zolotonosha is located on the Zolotonoshka River, a tributary of the Dnipro River within of the oblast's administrative center, Cherkasy. The city is also located on the railroad line from Bakhmach to Odessa, and on the freeway from Kyiv to Kremenchuk and from Cherkasy to Shramivka. Andriy Mykolaiovych Livytskyi ( uk, Андрій Миколайович Лівицький; April 9, 1879, in Lyplyavo, the Russian Empire (now Cherkasy Oblast, Ukraine) – January 17, 1954) was a Ukrainian politician, diplomat, statesman, and lawyer. He was president of the Ukrainian People's Republic in exile (1948–1954) and the Chairman of the Directory prior to reforming that office into the presidential. Biography Andriy Livytskyi was born on 9 April 1879 in Lyplyavo (at the time part of the Russian Empire) into an old Cossack family. He finished the ''Gymnasium of Pavlo Halahana'' in Kyiv, and later went on to study at the mathematical and juridical faculties of the St. Volodymyr Kyiv University in 1896. In 1897 and 1899 he was held in the Lukyanivska Prison in Kyiv for participation in protests. The Ukrainian People's Republic (UPR), or Ukrainian National Republic (UNR), was a country in Eastern Europe that existed between 1917 and 1920. It was declared following the February Revolution in Russia by the First Universal.
