Naseeb (also spelled Nesib, Nasib or Nasip) ( ar, نصيب, links=no) is an Arabic term used in many languages including Indonesian, Malay, Persian, Turkish, Pashto, Sindhi, Somali, Urdu, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali and Punjabi it means destiny or fate. Nasib (1945 Film)
''Nasib'' (Fate) is a 1949 Singaporean Malay-language black-and-white romantic drama film directed by B. S. Rajhans; it stars S. Roomai Noor, Siput Sarawak, Daeng Harris, and P. Ramlee. The film was one of eight popular productions made by the Shaw Brothers Studio in the 1940s. Plot Kassim is banished from his home by his elder brother and sister-in-law, who plotted to keep the family inheritance to themselves. Kassim and his two close friends attempt to make a living by fishing at sea. But their boat topples over and they drift to a secluded island. There, they chance upon a pirates’ lair in a cave and seize the ill-gotten treasure that the pirates had hidden. Cast Production This black-and-white film was directed by B. S. Nasib Border Crossing
The Nasib Border Crossing ( ar, مركز نصيب الحدودي) is an international Jordan–Syria border, border crossing between Syria and Jordan. It is one of the busiest border crossings in Syria and is situated on the Damascus-Amman international highway near Nasib, Syria. It is the main crossing for Syrian exports to Jordan and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, GCC countries. In April 2015, the crossing fell to control of Free Syrian Army and al-Nusra Front during the Battle of Nasib Border Crossing. On 6 July 2018, the Syrian army recaptured the Nasib Border Crossing in the 2018 Southern Syria offensive. The Nasib Border Crossing was officially reopened on 15 October 2018. After closing again due to the COVID pandemic in 2020, as well as the 2021 Daraa clashes, the Nasib Border Crossing reopened on 29 September 2021. Lotfi Nasib (né ''Nasibullen/Nasibulla,'' Tatar'':'' Лотфи Насыйбуллин/Насыйбулла; ''Lotfi Nasıybullin/Nasıybulla;'' 13 May 1926 - 28 March 2011) was a Finnish ice hockey player who played in SM-sarja as an attacker during 1943-1954, where he represented the Tampere-based team ''Ilves'' and won six championships. Mohammed Naseeb Qureshy (MN Qureshy) (4 January 1933 – 2005) was a prominent geologist from India. His main field of study was Exploration geophysics. He graduated from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and earned his Dsc degree in Exploration geophysics from Colorado School of Mines. During the early 1970s, MN Qureshy designed and coordinated the first indigenous aerial geophysical survey of the Western Ghats and Chitradurga Copper District in India. He also initiated the national regional gravity mapping programme which culminated in publication of first comprehensive gravity maps of India. ''Nasīb'' ( ar, النسيب) is an Arabic literary form, 'usually defined as an erotic or amatory prelude to the type of long poem called a '' qaṣīdah''.' However, although at the beginning of the form's development ''nasīb'' meant 'love-song', it came to cover much wider kinds of content: 'The ''nasīb'' usually is understood as the first part of the ''qaṣīdah'' where the poet remembers his beloved.
