Naser Cheshmazar
Naser Cheshmazar (31 December 1950 – 4 May 2018) was an Iranian musician and composer. He was an acknowledged master in classical music, musical theater, blues, folk music, jazz, and popular music. He composed many songs for well-known Iranian singers including Hayedeh, Googoosh, Mahasti, Dariush, Sattar, Ebi, Leila Forouhar. Early life Naser was born on the last of 1950 in Ardabil. His father taught him the basics of traditional Persian music during his childhood when he picked accordion as his very first instrument to begin his musical life. Career At the age of 12, Naser and his father both joined the Azerbaijan Orchestra at Radio Iran. He soon showed his musical talent and earned his first award for playing accordion as a junior high school student. He conducted an orchestra at the Iranian Embassy in Iraq when he was only 17. Dariush Eghbali ( fa, داریوش اقبالی ), known mononymously as Dariush (), is an Iranian singer. Biography Childhood and Youth Dariush was born in Tehran to parents from Mianeh on 4 February 1951. He spent his early years in Mianeh, Karaj and his musical talent was first recognized at age nine when he appeared on stage at his school. Iraj Ghaderi
Iraj Ghaderi ( fa, ایرج قادری; 17 April 1934 – 6 May 2012) was an Iranian film director and actor. He briefly studied to become a pharmacist, but soon dropped out. He died in Tehran on 6 May 2012, aged 77. Life Iraj Ghaderi studied in pharmacology but did not finish the program. His artistic career began in 1956 with playing in the film ''Intersection Accidents'' by Samuel Khachikian. He established the film company ''Panorama'' with Moosa Afshar in 1963. He, who is often recognized as one of the major filmmakers of the pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema, continued filmmaking after the revolution with the film ''Taraj'' in 1985. Death In May 2012, Iraj Ghaderi was admitted to Mehrdad hospital with a deterioration in health due to lung cancer. Shortly after, he died on 6 May. Morteza Hannaneh ( fa, مرتضی حنانه; March 1, 1923 – October 17, 1989) was an Iranian composer and Musician He composed for some films, such as '' Fleeing the Trap'' in 1971. Musical career He studied Horn at the Tehran Conservatory of Music and basic composition with Parviz Mahmoud, Hannaneh and Mahmoud were the true founder of Tehran Symphony Orchestra. For a short period he was the principal conductor of this orchestra in 1953 to 1955s. Hannaneh also studied composition in Italy and after his return to Iran he established Farabi Orchestra in Radio Tehran in 1963s. He won the first prize of (International Rostrum of Composers), 6–11 June 1966 "House of UNESCO", Paris. Hannaneh also composed soundtracks for Persian films and he was the first composer who composed music for films in Iran. Leila Forouhar ( fa, لیلا فروهر, ''Leilâ Foruhar'') (born 23 February 1959) is an Iranian pop and classical singer. She was a child star, acting from the age of 3. She relocated to next door Turkey in 1986, then to Paris, before emigrating to Los Angeles in 1988. Career Leila is the daughter of the late Iranian actor Jahangir Forouhar. As a child she acted in movies in minor roles, receiving recognition for her part in ''Soltane Ghalbha'' (''King of Hearts''). As a teenager she began modeling for fashion magazines. Hassan Sattar
Abdolhassan Sattarpour ( fa, عبدالحسن ستارپور; born 19 November 1949), better known simply as Sattar ( fa, ستار), is an Iranian singer with specialization in both Persian pop and classical music. He had gained fame before the Islamic Revolution and became Pahlavi Royal Family court singer up until the political upheavals of the late 1970s. He left Iran in 1978 and has lived in the United States since then. Biography Sattar is one of six siblings born to an Abadani mother and Azeri father. His fame began at the age of 22 with the release of the theme song "Khaneh Bedush" for Morad Barghi, a popular television show in Iran. The show made him an instant star.
