Papua (province)
Papua is a province of Indonesia, comprising the northern coast of Western New Guinea together with island groups in Cenderawasih Bay to the west. It roughly follows the borders of Papuan customary region of Tabi Saireri. It is bordered by the sovereign state of Papua New Guinea to the east, the Pacific Ocean to the north, Cenderawasih Bay to the west, and the provinces of Central Papua and Highland Papua to the south. Tolikara Regency
Tolikara Regency is one of the regencies (''kabupaten'') in the Indonesian province of Highland Papua. It covers an area of 14,564 km2, and had a population of 114,427 at the 2010 Census and 239,543 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2021 was 242,293. The administrative centre of Tolikara Regency is the town of Karubaga. Administrative Districts Tolikara Regency in 2010 comprised 35 districts (''distrik''), but the number of districts was increased (by 2018) to 46, subdivided into 545 administrative villages. Metro TV is an Indonesian free-to-air television news network based in West Jakarta. It was established on 25 November 2000 and now has over 52 relay stations all over the country. The Indonesian Broadcasting Commission ( id, Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia, abbreviated as KPI) is an independent broadcasting agency in Indonesia that functions as a regulating body for broadcasting companies in the country. The commission was established in 2002 based on Act No. 32 of 2002 on Broadcasting. KPI consists of the Central Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (''KPI Pusat'') and the Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (''KPID'') who work on the provincial level. Wiranto (born 4 April 1947) is an Indonesian politician and former army general, who is serving as the chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council, since December 2019. Previously, he was the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces from February 1998 to October 1999 during Indonesia's transition from authoritarian rule to democracy, he ran unsuccessfully for President of Indonesia in 2004 and for the vice-presidency in 2009. The People's Conscience Party ( id, Partai Hati Nurani Rakyat), better known by its abbreviation, Hanura, is a political party in Indonesia. It was established following a meeting in Jakarta on 13–14 December 2006 and first headed by former Indonesian National Armed Forces commander Wiranto. The party lost its seats in parliament after a poor performance in the 2019 general election.
