Narsingh Deonarine
Narsingh Deonarine (born 16 August 1983) is a Guyanese cricketer, who has played for the West Indies. Domestic and franchise career He is a left-handed batsman who bowls a right-arm off break. He made his debut for Guyana at the age of 17, and after captaining the West Indies under 19 team in 2002, he made headlines after hitting a century against the touring Australians the following year. Deonarine then had a spell in England with Whitehaven Cricket Club in 2004. He first came into the West Indies squad after contract disputes saw seven players left out of the South African Test of March 2005. Similarities in the fielding techniques and skill at cover point exist between Deonarine and his team-mate Shivnarine Chanderpaul—a man who Deonarine has clearly modelled his game on. Albion, Guyana
Albion is a village in East Berbice-Corentyne, Guyana. Geography It is located approximately east of the town of New Amsterdam, Guyana along the one and only main road. Part of Albion is known as Albion High Reef. Albion was a larger settlement, but has been broken up into smaller adjacent villages such as Hampshire, Nigg, Chesney, Belvedere, Sand Reef, Dr Bush, Guava Bush and Topoo. Demographics The town has 1,424 inhabitants as of 2012, mostly Indo-Guyanese. The village has four mandirs, one mosque and two Christian churches. Economy The Albion Sugar Estate (owned by Guyana Sugar Corporation) is a major employer in the area (3,400 reported in 2011). Fielding in the sport of cricket is the action of fielders in collecting the ball after it is struck by the striking batter, to limit the number of runs that the striker scores and/or to get a batter out by either catching a hit ball before it bounces, or by running out either batter before they can complete the run they are currently attempting. The 2021 Oman Tri-Nation Series was the 6th round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament which was played in Oman in September 2021. It was a tri-nation series between Nepal, Oman and the United States cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. Adrian Barath
Adrian Boris Barath (born 14 April 1990) is a former West Indies, West Indian cricketer. A right-hand opening batsman for Trinidad and Tobago cricket team, Trinidad and Tobago, Barath made his Test cricket, Test debut in November 2009, becoming the youngest West Indian to score a century.
