Narra Raghava Reddy
Narra Raghava Reddy (1924–2015) was a leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), a six time MLA to Andhra Pradesh Assembly who represented Nakrekal constituency of Nalgonda district. He participated in Telangana Rebellion along with Ravi Narayana Reddy Raavi Narayana Reddy (5 June 1908 – 7 September 1991) was an Indian politician, a founding member of the Communist Party of India, and a peasant leader. He was a leader in the Telangana Rebellion against the rule of Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah V ..., Dharma Bixam and joined the CPI in 1950 and was elected as sarpanch of Shivanenigudem in 1959. After the split in the CPI, he went with the CPM. Raghava Reddy was jailed among the opposition leaders jailed by then Congress government during the emergency. He was elected state committee member of CPM in 1971 at the party meeting held in Warangal. He was elected as MLA of Nakrekal for six terms since 1967 elections. Nalgonda is a city and municipality in the Indian state of Telangana. Nomula Narsimhaiah (9 January 1956 – 1 December 2020) was an Indian politician and Member of Telangana Legislative Assembly belonging to Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Telangana Rebellion
The Telangana Rebellion popularly known as Telangana Sayuda Poratam (Telugu : తెలంగాణ సాయుధ పోరాటం) of 1946–51 was a communist-led insurrection of peasants against the princely state of Hyderabad in the region of Telangana that escalated out of agitations in 1944–46. Hyderabad was a feudal monarchy where most of the land was concentrated in the hands of landed aristocrats known as Doras in Telangana. Feudal exploitation in the region was more severe compared to others of India; the had complete power over the peasants and could subject them to agricultural slavery. Conditions worsened during the 1930s due to the Great Depression and a transition towards commercial crops.
