Narasaraopet Municipality is the local self government in Narasaraopet of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is classified as a ''first grade municipality''. History The municipality is as old as a century, with its formation dating back to 18 May 1915. It got upgraded to first grade municipality on 28 April 1980. Atal Mission For Rejuvenation And Urban Transformation
Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission was renamed to Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) and then relaunched by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in June 2015 with the focus to establish infrastructure that could ensure adequate robust sewage networks and water supply for urban transformation by implementing urban revival projects. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, or Clean India Mission is a country-wide campaign initiated by the Government of India in 2014 to eliminate open defecation and improve solid waste management.
