Nansha Port Railway
The Nansha Port railway () is a railway line in Guangdong Province, China. History Construction began in 2016. During construction, this line was changed from a freight-only railway to a combined passenger and freight line. It opened on 31 December 2021 for freight. railway station opened on 8 February 2022. Guangzhou–Zhuhai Railway
Guangzhou–Zhuhai railway () is a railway between () in Guangzhou and () in Zhuhai, via the cities of Foshan and Jiangmen, in Guangdong, China. Opened at the end of 2012, it is currently used for freight only. Role Until the 21st century, Zhuhai did not have any railway connections to the rest of the country. Now, however, there are two new railways there: besides the Guangzhou–Zhuhai railway for freight trains, the passenger-only Guangzhou–Zhuhai intercity railway, is a passenger-only line, started construction in 2005 and was to be completed in 2010. Line 18 (Guangzhou Metro)
Line 18 of the Guangzhou Metro () is a rapid transit express line in Guangzhou with trains operating up to . It will run in a south-north direction, connecting Wanqingsha in Nansha District, in Panyu District, in Haizhu District, Zhujiang New Town and in Tianhe District. The line commenced service on 28 September 2021. Currently, there are train attendants on board each train. In the future, trains will operate fully driverless GoA4 mode when sufficient reliability from the signaling system has been confirmed.
