Nanjing Tech University
Nanjing Tech University (NJTech; ), colloquially known as Nan Gong (or Nangong, 南工), is a university located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China. It is located 300 km from Shanghai. NJTech was part of the first group of universities approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education for the training of “Excellent Engineers.” The university specializes in engineering. Xu Delong (; August 1952 – 21 September 2018) was a Chinese materials scientist and a leading authority in silicate research and engineering. He was an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), and served as Vice President of the CAE and President of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. Centenary Prize
The Centenary Prize is an award granted annually by the United Kingdom-based Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) to up to three "outstanding chemists, who are also exceptional communicators, from overseas". Min Enze (; 4 February 1924 – 7 March 2016) was a Chinese chemical engineer and chemist. He was an expert in petrochemical catalysis, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE). Biography Min was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. He graduated from National Central University (Nanjing University) in 1946, majoring in chemical engineering.
