Nana Arhin Duah
Nana Arhin Duah (born September 14, 1980) is a Ghanaian football striker, who last played for Ashanti Gold SC. Career Duah began his career in Ashanti Gold SC. In 1997 the team won the CAF Champions League. He moved after 3 years in January 2000 to Asante Kotoko. In the season 2007/08 he was champion with Asante Kotoko and he won the President's Cup with his team. He scored for Kotoko in their second MTN CAF Champions League Group A match against CS Sfaxien a goal. After eight years with Asante Kotoko turned back to his youth club and signed on 24 October 2008 a three years contract with Ashanti Gold SC, he left the team on 26 April 2009. International Played in Ghana's 2006 World Cup preliminary qualifier against Somalia, scoring two goals, but did not feature much for Ghana subsequently. Ashanti Gold Sporting Club popularly known as AshGold is a Ghanaian football team based in the gold mining town of Obuasi, south of Kumasi the capital of Ashanti Region. The club are currently competing in the Ghana Premier League. History Ashanti Gold SC was founded in 1978 by a group of employees of the Ashanti Goldfields Corporation under the name of Goldfields Sporting Club famously known as Obuasi Goldfields. The employees pleaded with management of AGC to sponsor the team, but they were always refused. The employees continued to pay the salaries and costs for the team and in the 1984 season the club finished as runner-up in the FA Cup. The management took notice and, through their leading shareholder Lonrho, arranged funding and sent an English manager to help the fledgling team. Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, simply known as Asante Kotoko, is a professional football club founded on 31 August 1935 and based in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
