Namps-Maisnil () is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France. Geography A commune created by the amalgamation, in 1972, of the four old communes of Namps-au-Mont, Namps-au-Val, Rumaisnil and Taisnil. Amiens–Rouen Railway
The railway from Amiens to Rouen is a French 114-kilometre long railway line, that connects Amiens to Rouen. It was opened in 1867. The line was electrified on 27 August 1984 at 25 kW 50 Hz, and was equipped with the restrained permissivity automatic blocking system, which since the 1990s has offered increasingly unsatisfactory operating conditions with respect to the increasing mixed passenger and goods traffic on the line. Route The Amiens–Rouen railway begins near the Saint-Roch (Somme) station in Amiens, where it branches off the railway from Amiens to Boulogne. It runs in generally southwestern direction, passing through Poix-de-Picardie, Abancourt and Serqueux until it reaches its terminus in Rouen. A branch line from Montérolier-Buchy station to Saint-Saëns has been closed and removed. Réseau ferré de France (RFF, french: French Rail Network) was a French company which owned and maintained the France, French national railway network from 1997 to 2014. The company was formed with the rail assets of SNCF in 1997. Afterwards, the trains were operated by the SNCF, the national railway company, but due to EU Directive 91/440, European Union Directive 91/440, the Government of France was required to separate train operations from the railway infrastructure. On 1 January 2015, RFF became ''SNCF Réseau'', the operational assets of SNCF became ''SNCF Mobilités'', and both groups were placed under the control of SNCF. Quevauvillers () is a Communes of France, commune in the Somme (department), Somme Departments of France, department in Hauts-de-France in northern France. Geography Quevauvillers is situated on the N29 road, some southwest of Amiens. Gare D'Amiens
Amiens station (locally known as: ''Gare du Nord'') is the main railway station for the Northern French city of Amiens. History The station opened on 15 March 1847 when the line to Abbeville started passenger operations. It was razed by German shelling in World War I, rebuilt, then destroyed again by the Allied forces during World War II and replaced by the present structure built in 1955 by Auguste Perret. A tower called the Tour Perret was built at the same time close to the station. The station district's buildings were collectively registered as a historic monument in 2004. Amiens is both a terminus and a through station. A concourse was built over the six platforms to facilitate passenger movement.
