"Naked Without You" is a song by British band Roachford, released in 1998 as the third and final single from their 1997 album ''Feel''. The song was co-written by Andrew Roachford, Rick Nowels and Billy Steinberg. It reached No. 53 on the UK Singles Chart. Taylor Dayne version American singer Taylor Dayne recorded "Naked Without You" for her 1998 album of the same name. It was released in 1999 as the third and final single from the album. The song is originally a ballad, but due to the dance remixes served by Thunderpuss 2000, it became a hit in the clubs, subsequently peaking at No. 3 on ''Billboard'''s Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. Andrew Roachford (born 22 January 1965) is a British singer-songwriter and the main force behind the band Roachford, who scored their first success in 1989 with the hits "Cuddly Toy" and "Family Man". He has also had a successful solo career. He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2019 Birthday Honours for services to music. John Robert "Joe" Cocker (20 May 1944 – 22 December 2014) was an English singer known for his gritty, bluesy voice and dynamic stage performances that featured expressive body movements. Most of his best known singles were recordings of songs written by other song writers, though he composed a number of songs for most of his albums as well, often in conjunction with songwriting partner Chris Stainton. His first album featured a recording of the Beatles' "With a Little Help from My Friends", which brought him to near-instant stardom. Thunderpuss
Thunderpuss is the (mainly dance) remix/production team of Los Angeles-based music producers Barry Harris and Chris Cox. Harris had previously worked as part of several music groups including Kon Kan, Top Kat, Killer Bunnies and Outta Control and had also released several solo singles himself. Cox, a musician and DJ, had also worked for years as a DJ and producer, producing a megamix of Paula Abdul songs, among other things, and started his own record label, Interhit Records, with Jeff Johnson. History Harris and Cox originally met in New York City in 1990 while Harris was recording '' Syntonic'', Kon Kan's second album. They became friends and remained in contact for years, with Harris eventually joining Cox at Interhit Records in Los Angeles in January 1998.
