Nagqu Dagring Airport () is a planned airport that will serve Seni in the Nagqu of Tibet. Seni District
Seni District (; ) is a district within the Nagqu of the Tibet Autonomous Region, southwest China. Geography and climate Located in the northern part of the Tibet Autonomous Region, Seni ranges in latitude from 30° 31' to 31° 55' N and in longitude from 91° 12' to 93° 02' E. Bordering counties within Nagqu are Lhari to the southeast, Biru to the east, Nyainrong to the northeast, Amdo to the northwest, and Baingoin to the west, while Lhasa City, the regional capital, is to the south. With an elevation of around , Nagqu has a harsh, alpine climate (Köppen ''EH''), closely bordering on a subarctic climate (''Dwc''), with long, very cold and dry winters, and short, cool summers. Nagqu
Nagqu (also Naqu, Nakchu, or Nagchu; ; ) is a prefecture-level city in the north of the Chinese autonomous region of Tibet. On May 7, 2018, the former Nagqu Prefecture was officially declared the sixth prefecture-level city in Tibet after Lhasa, Shigatse, Chamdo, Nyingchi and Shannan. The regional area, covering an area of , is bordered by Bayingolin and Hotan Prefectures of Xinjiang to the north, Haixi, Yushu Prefectures of Qinghai and Chamdo to the east, Nyingchi, Lhasa and Shigatse to the south, Ngari Prefecture to the west. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 462,381. Nagqu contains 89 townships, 25 towns and 1283 villages. The main city of Nagqu is by the China National Highway 109 northeast of Lhasa. Daocheng Yading Airport
Daocheng Yading Airport ( zh, 稻城亚丁机场, bo, འདབ་པའི་ཉི་བརྟེན་གནམ་གྲུ་ཐང་, ) is an airport serving Daocheng County in the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan province, China. It is located in Sangdui Township, north of the county seat and from the Yading Nature Reserve. At above sea level, Daocheng Yading is the highest civilian airport in the world. Construction started after the airport was approved in April 2011, with a total investment of 1.58 billion yuan (US$255 million). The airport was opened on 16 September 2013. The inaugural flight was Air China Flight 4215 on an Airbus A319 from the provincial capital Chengdu, carrying 118 passengers. The opening of the airport cut the journey time between Daocheng and Chengdu to one hour, which previously required a two-day bus trip.
