Hidetoshi Nagasawa
was a Japanese sculptor and architect, who lived and worked in Italy from 1967 until his death in 2018. Nagasawa was born in Tonei, Manchuria. He graduated in architecture in Tokyo in 1963. In 1966 he embarked on a long bicycle trip across Asia and Europe, eventually reaching Milan where he decided to permanently settle in 1968. In 1979 he founded the Casa degli Artisti in Milan together with Luciano Fabro and Jole De Sanna. Nagasawa's sculptures were made of materials such as paper, wood, stone and metal, and incorporated Eastern and Western cultural and religious elements. In the 1980s, he started creating his first environments, exploring the relationship between sculpture and architecture. Nagasawa was a lecturer at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. is a Japanese former football player and manager. He played for Japan national team. Actress Masami Nagasawa is his daughter. Club career Nagasawa was born in Shizuoka on February 4, 1958. After graduating from Tokyo University of Agriculture, he joined Yamaha Motors in 1980. Although he played as regular player, he could not play in the game at the end of his career for injury. Yoshiaki Nagasawa (born 1947) is a Japanese bicycle frame builder who builds primarily Keirin track racing bicycles. He has a one-man shop near Osaka, Japan. Notable riders of his bikes include ten-time world champion track racing cyclist Koichi Nakano. Nagasawa was born in 1947 in Asahi, Chiba Prefecture. In his youth he took part in bicycle races in Japan, including the Japan National Championships Road Race. Later he was chosen as a hopeful to race for Japan at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City. Nagasawa Kanaye
Kanaye Nagasawa (né Isonaga Hikosuke; February 2, 1852February 14, 1934) was a California winemaker, the first Japanese national to live permanently in the United States, a recipient of the Order of the Rising Sun, and a disciple of Thomas Lake Harris, the self-proclaimed "Father and Pivot and Primate and King of the Brotherhood of the New Life". Nagasawa followed Harris from New York out to Santa Rosa, California, where he eventually took over Harris' Fountaingrove estate. Nagasawa died in 1934, but the round barn he constructed at Fountaingrove was a landmark in Sonoma County.
