Nagarkhas
Nagarkhas ( ur, نگرخاس), also known as Oyum-Nagar is the headquarters of the Nagar District of Gilgit–Baltistan and is one of the largest towns in that district. Situated on the bank of the Nagar River, it was also the capital of the former princely state of Nagar. Today, the famous Karakoram Highway crosses Nagar, connecting Pakistan to China via the Khunjerab Pass. The road follows the Hunza-Nagar River for some distance through Nagar and into the Hunza District. Location Nagar lies in the Nagar River valley, about five miles south-east of the junction of the Nagar River with the Hunza River, just below Baltit. The Nagar Valley, previously known as Broshal, is situated at an elevation of 2,688m (8822 feet). Nagarkhas is the main town and was the capital of the former princely state of Nagar. Sumayar Valley
Sumayar or Sumer'' ( ur, سمائر; ) is a small valley in the Nagar District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The valley is located at the confluence of Hunza River and Nagar River (Pakistan). It is bounded by eroded landscape from the north-east and mountain ridges from the south. Moreover, the valley is composed of nine small villages: Khai, Futhkhai, Yal, Boshat, Rashfari, Resman, Daltho, Thopkhan, and Jotorkhan. It is around away from Gilgit city and takes around one and a half or two hours to reach the valley. The adjoining areas are Askurdas and Shayar. Sumayar, Askurdas, and Shayar are combinedly known as SAS Valley. Nagar District
The Nagar District ( ur, ) is one of the 14 districts of Pakistan-administered territory of Gilgit-Baltistan. The Nagar District was established in 2015 by the division of the Hunza–Nagar District into two districts: the Hunza District and the Nagar District. The Nagar District is bounded on the north and north-east by the Hunza District, on the south-east by the Shigar District, on the south by the Gilgit District, and on the west by the Gupis-Yasin District. Nagar Valley
Nagar (Nagar) is a former princely state and one of the ten districts of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The valley is along the Karakoram Highway on the way north from the city of Gilgit. The valley is home to many high mountain peaks including Rakaposhi (7788m), Diran Peak (7265m), Golden Peak and Rush Peak. The Nagar valley is administratively divided into two Tehsils: Tehsil Nagar-I and Tehsil Nagar-II. Diran
Diran ( ur, دیرن) is a mountain in the Karakoram range in Nagar Valley and Bagrot Valley Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. This pyramid shaped mountain lies to the east of Rakaposhi (7,788m). Diran is the most dangerous mountain in Pakistan as its snow is the cause of many events resulting in hundreds of deaths. Diran was first climbed in 1968 by three Austrians: Rainer Goeschl, Rudolph Pischinger and Hanns Schell. Earlier attempts by a German expedition in 1959 and an Austrian expedition in 1964 were unsuccessful. Spantik
Spantik (Balti Language) or Golden Peak is a mountain in Spantik-Sosbun Mountains subrange of Karakoram in Hispar Valley of Shigar District, Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.
