Nagarjun Municipality
Nagarjun is a municipality in Kathmandu District in Bagmati Province of Nepal. It was formed on 2 December 2014 by merging the former VDCs of Bhimdhunga, Ichangu Narayan, Ramkot, Syuchatar and Sitapaila. The office of the municipality is located at Harisiddhi, Sitapaila. There are ten wards in the municipality. Geography It is surrounded by 13,14, 15 and 16 number wards of Kathmandu Metropolitan City on the east, Dhading District on the west, Tarkeshwar Municipality on the north and Chandragiri Municipality on the south. The area of the municipality is and the average altitude is to above sea level. Demographics At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, Nagarjun Municipality had a population of 68,863. Tarakeshwar Rural Municipality is a Gaunpalika in Nuwakot District in Bagmati Province of central Nepal that was established in 11 March 2018 by merging the former Village Development Committees Khadga Bhanjyang(Ward no. 1 and 3), Gorsyang, Taruka and Dangsing. Dhading District ( ne, धादिङ जिल्ला ), a part of Bagmati Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. Ramkot, Nepal
Ramkot is a village of the Nagarjun Municipality, Bagmati Province, Nepal (formerly part of the village development committee). The 2011 Nepal census recorded that Ramkot had a population of 6,303 people in 1,427 independent households. Ramkot is named after the Hindu deity, Rama. A local legend says that Rama spent a few days in Ramkot during exile and left behind a piece of his clothing, while another describes how Rama constructed a building to store his weapons, named Kot (house of keeping weapons).
