Nagapasa-class Submarine
The ''Nagapasa'' class is an upgraded variant of the , also known as Improved ''Chang Bogo''. The vessels were built by the South Korean Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DMSE) and the Indonesian PT PAL. As of 2021, six ships have been planned, which were divided into two batches. Batch 1 consists of three ships and all are already commissioned. Batch 2 also consists of three ships that are in the early development stage. The class is named for weapon of Indrajit, ''Nagapash'' (). Development In December 2011, DSME won a contract to build three 1,400-ton s for Indonesia at a cost of $1.07 billion. Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd ( ko, 대우조선해양; abbreviated DSME) is one of the "Big Three" shipbuilders of South Korea, along with Hyundai and Samsung. Arjuna (Sanskrit: अर्जुन, ), also known as Partha and Dhananjaya, is a character in several ancient Hindu texts, and specifically one of the major characters of the Indian epic Mahabharata. Okpo, Geoje
Okpo is a neighborhood in the city of Geoje in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. The village is located on the eastern coast of Geoje Island and a center of the island. Geoje in Korean means "great rescue", from the syllables "geo" (Korean: 거; Hanja: 巨) meaning great, and "je" (Korean: 제; Hanja: 濟) meaning rescue. Ade Supandi (born 26 May 1960) is a retired admiral in the Indonesian Navy who formerly served as its chief of staff ( id, Kepala Staf Angkatan Laut, abbreviated KSAL or ''Kasal'').
