Nagaku Mijikai Matsuri
is Ringo Sheena's 15th single and her 2nd double A-side single. It was released on 31 July 2015 by Universal Music Japan. Background and development "Nagaku Mijikai Matsuri" was used in advertisements for Coca-Cola Japan's 2015 summer campaign. "Kamisama, Hotokesama" was used as an TV commercial jingle for the au smartphone " isai vivid" manufactured by LG Electronics, in which Sheena also stars in the commercial. A picture of the Nebuta Matsuri was used for the album artwork of the single. Sheena sings two duets in both songs with two of her close male musician friends: Ryosuke Nagaoka, also known as Ukigumo (former member of Tokyo Jihen) in "Nagaku Mijikai Matsuri" and Shutoku Mukai for "Kamisama, Hotokesama". Ringo Sheena
, known by her stage name , is a Japanese singer, songwriter and musician. She is also the founder and lead vocalist of the band Tokyo Jihen. She describes herself as "". She was ranked number 36 in a list of Japan's top 100 musicians compiled by HMV in 2003. Early life Sheena was born with an esophageal atresia in which the esophagus narrows as it approaches the stomach. Treatment of this involved several operations, at least one of which required her right shoulder blade to be cut open. These surgeries left Sheena with large scars on her shoulder blades, said to give the impression that an angel's wings had been removed. Initial solo career Sheena released her first official single "Kōfukuron" in May 1998, when she was 19 years old. Piano
The piano is a stringed keyboard instrument in which the strings are struck by wooden hammers that are coated with a softer material (modern hammers are covered with dense wool felt; some early pianos used leather). Wurlitzer Electric Piano
The Wurlitzer electronic piano is an electric piano manufactured and marketed by Wurlitzer from the mid-1950s to mid-1980s. Sound is generated by striking a metal reed with a hammer, which induces an electric current in a pickup. It is conceptually similar to the Rhodes piano, though the sound is different. The instrument was invented by Benjamin Miessner, who had worked on various types of electric pianos since the early 1930s. The first Wurlitzer was manufactured in 1954, and production continued until 1983. Originally, the piano was designed to be used in the classroom, and several dedicated teacher and student instruments were manufactured. Masayuki Hiizumi
, also known by the name H Zett M (stylised as H ZETT M) is a Japanese keyboardist and producer. He became a member of jazz instrumental band Pe'z in 1999, and was a member of Ringo Sheena's band Tokyo Jihen between 2004 and 2005. In 2007, Hiizumi debuted as a solo musician with the name H Zett M. Biography In 2001, Pe'z debuted with their self-titled extended play ''Pe'z'', followed by ''Hayato'' and ''Okokoroire'' also in 2001. Jagatara
Jagatara was a Japanese band centered on Edo Akemi. They are renowned for their unique sound, which has been described as a mixture of rock, especially punk, funk and reggae.
