Nadora
Nadora is a village at one end of the North Goa taluka, or sub-district, of Bardez. It is divided by the Colvale river from the northernmost Goa ''taluka'' of Pernem or Pednem. It lies between Pirna to its east, and Revora to its west. Area, population Nadora covers an area of 509.96 hectares. It has a total of 295 households within its village area. In all 1,257 persons live in Nadora, comprising 648 males and 609 females. There are 120 children aged under six, 59 boys and 61 girls, according to the 2011 Census. Flooding, waterlogging in 2019 In 2019, the Revora-Nadora area was in the news after an island called the Raneache Juvem in the locality flooded due to torrential rain. Bardez
''Bardez'' ( kok, Bardes; pt, Bardes; IPA: ) is a ''taluka'' of the North Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. It was a ''concelho'' in the Portuguese State of India before 1961. Etymology The name is credited to the Saraswat Brahmin immigrants who emigrated to the Konkan via Magadha plains in northern India. Bardez, or more properly ''bara'' (twelve) ''desh'' (country), means "twelve countries" (or territories). Goa Assembly
The Goa Legislative Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the state of Goa in India. The Assembly meets at the Goa State Legislative Assembly Complex in Porvorim, Bardez. Tivim
Tivim pronounced Thivim, is a village in Nathivim in Bardez, in the North Goa district of Goa, India. It is an important gateway into North Goa as the home to the major railway station in North Goa. Tivim was also the ancestral village of the first global beauty queen of India, Ms. Reita Faria. More recently Prathamesh Maulingkar was crowned Mister Supranational 2018. . Revora
Revora is a village, from Mapusa in Bardez, Goa, India. It lies on the banks of the Chapora River. It comes in the purview of Tivim constituency. The village is famous for its seventeenth century church. The traditional occupation of the villagers has been paddy cultivation and fishing in the river. Many villagers are now involved in sand extraction industry, wherein sand extracted from the river bed and to sold to the construction industry. Pernem or Pedne (pronounced ) is a town and a municipal council in North Goa district in the Indian state of Goa.
