Nadezhda Orenburg
PBK Nadezhda Orenburg (russian: ПБК «Надежда») is a Russian women's basketball club from Orenburg founded in 1994. Nadezhda has been 3rd in the Russian Premier League in 2010 and 2011, and reached the Russian Cup's final from 2011–12, as well as from 2014-16, everytime losing to UMMC Ekaterinburg. In addition they have been regularly playing in FIBA Europe competitions since 2005, reaching the final of the 2010 Eurocup. Additionally, they played in the Euroleague since 2008, except in the 2009–10 season. Russian Women's Basketball Premier League
The Russian Women's Basketball Premier League is the premier women's basketball competition in Russia. The category consists of 11 teams playing a total of 20 rounds. At the end of the regular season the top eight teams play the play-offs throughout April, ending in a 5 matches final. UMMC Ekaterinburg is the most successful team in the championship with 15 titles, including a record 13-year winning streak. Defunct team CSKA Moscow, later relocated to Samara as VBM-SGAU Samara (9), Dynamo Moscow (4) and Spartak Moscow Region (2) follow in the palmares. Thanks to large number of foreign players, WBPL teams have been successful in the Euroleague since the 2000s, with Spartak Moscow Region winning 4 titles in a row (a competition record since 1976), UMMC Ekaterinburg winning 6 titles, and VBM-SGAU Samara and Dynamo Kursk one each. The EuroCup Women (officially ''FIBA EuroCup Women'') is the second-level basketball competition with teams from associate members of FIBA Europe. It succeeds the Ronchetti Cup. Zane Tamane (née Teilāne; born September 24, 1983) is a Latvian women's basketball player currently playing for Nadezhda Orenburg and Latvia women's national basketball team. Tamane, who is 2.00m tall, was the first female basketball player in Latvia to be able to slam dunk in practice. Alexander Pavlovich Ermolinskij (russian: Александр Павлович Ермолинский; born November 11, 1959) is an Ukraninan-Icelandic basketball coach and a former basketball player.
