Nabib Newaj Jibon ( bn, নাবিব নেওয়াজ জীবন; born 17 August 1990) is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bangladesh Premier League club Abahani Limited Dhaka and the Bangladesh national team. Club career Early career Jibon's career started in 2006, when he played the JFA Cup U-16 tournament, his impressive performance during the competition earned him a place in the three month long Bangladesh U-17 national camp. However, he could not make it to the final squad. In 2007, he made his Pioneer League debut with Noakhali Football Academy and finished the season as top scorer with 11 goals. The following year he played in the second division with Ashulia based, Gazir Char Club, but his time their did not go well as the club didn’t have enough players to compete for promotion. 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League (football)
The 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League (also known as TVS Bangladesh Premier League for sponsorship reason) is the 11th season of the Bangladesh Premier League since its establishment in 2007. A total of 13 football clubs will compete in the league. Dhaka Abahani are the defending champions. György Kottán
György Kottán (6 October 1946 – 25 September 2023), also referred to as a Georg Kottán or George Kottán, was a Hungarian-Austrian football manager and player. Kottan is regarded as the most influential coach in the history of Bangladeshi football. He guided the Bangladesh national team to their first SAFF Championship in 2003. Additionally, he holds the record for being the only coach to win the Bangladesh Premier League as an undefeated champion, with Abahani Limited Dhaka in 2016. The 2015 Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup, also known as Sheikh Kamal Gold Cup 2015, was the 1st edition of Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup, an international club football tournament hosted by the Chittagong Abahani Limited, Chittagong Abahani in association with the Bangladesh Football Federation. Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited Dhaka, founded in 1936 at Dhaka, is one of the oldest and one of the most popular football clubs in Bangladesh, with a support base in all parts of the country.
