Naagini
''Naagini'' ( female serpent) is a 2016 Indian Kannada-language supernatural fantasy television series that airs on Zee Kannada and on ZEE5 before TV telecast. The series, a remake of the Hindi serial ''Naaginn'', is directed by Hayavadana. The series premiered on 8 February 2016. Due to its success, a sequel ''Naagini 2'', was released on 17 February 2020. Plot The series is based on the tale of Ichchadaari Naagini, who avenged the killing of her parents, King Naagaraja (Master Sanjay) and Queen Nagarani (Jayashree Raj), by her enemies for the Naagamani (snake gem). Amrutha (Snake Princess, played by Deepika Das) lives in Takshaka Vana with her parents (the king and queen). Rudra (Arun), his friends and his brother Vishnu went there and killed Amrutha's parents for Naagamani. ''Naagini 2'' ( Female serpent 2) is a 2020 Indian Kannada-language television series produced for Zee Kannada. It premiered on February 17, 2020, and is digitally available on ZEE5. The series is a sequel to ''Naagini'' and loosely based on ''Phir Laut Aayi Naagin''. Plot The film begins as Shivani, a shape-shifting serpent, enters Earth to take revenge on the people who killed her husband, and to find Nagamani. She learns from Nagamatha that her husband Adishesha had been reborn on Earth, and will help to find Nagamani. Shivani finds out that Adishesha is between Trishool and Trivikram, who were in the same house where Trishool is the son of Nandisha (servant) and Trivikram is the son of Digvijay (Owner). Both of them were born at the same date and time, and Digvijay and his gang, including Nandisha, were the culprits who killed Adishesha and stole Nagamani. Later Nandisha's mother Mahamaayi reveals that Trishool is actually Digvijay's son, and Trivikram is Nandisha's son. ...

''Naaginn - Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa'' () is a Hindi television series that aired on Zee TV from 5 October 2007 till 11 April 2009. The show was produced by AK Films. Plot The show is based on a tale of an '' ichchhadhari'' ''naagin'' (a female snake who can change form at will) named Amrita. She transforms herself into a woman to take revenge from the Singh family, which had killed her parents (king and queen of the ''Naag'' or snake community) to get the valuable ''Naagmani'' (snake gem). While dying, the queen ''naaginn'' instructs Amrita to take revenge from the killers and get back the ''naagmani'' in their community so that she can give back life to her parents. In order to fulfill the wish of her dying ''naagin'' mother, Amrita transforms herself into a human being to take revenge.
