NSÍ Runavík (women)
NSÍ Runavík is a Faroese football club, playing in Runavík on the island of Eysturoy. It was founded 24 March 1957. In 2003 NSÍ participated for the first time on a European stage. In 2007, the club won the Faroe Islands Premier League for the first time. The club has won the Faroe Islands Cup in 1986, 2002 and 2017. Aside from these instances, NSÍ Runavík featured in the 1980, 1985, 1988, 2004 and 2015 tournament finals. The club plays in yellow and black. Their stadium (Við Løkin) has a capacity of 2,000. It is not approved by UEFA for international play, so Runavík play their UEFA Europa League matches at Tórsvøllur in Tórshavn or Svangaskarð in Toftir. The main sponsor of NSÍ is Navigare, which is based in Runavík near Bakkafrost which is the largest salmon-farming company in the Faroe Islands. Runavík Stadium
Runavík is a comparatively urbanised village in Runavík Municipality, Faroe Islands. It lies on the south half of the isle of Eysturoy. Port Founded in 1916, Runavík has an important port, originally used predominantly by fishing boats but now also a key supply base for the North Sea oil industry as well as a trans-shipment port for freight to and from Europe. The harbour underwent development in the late 1990s and can now accommodate cruise ships. Eysturoyartunnilin A massive infrastructure project has been mounted to build an 11 km-long sub-sea tunnel between Runavík and Tórshavn, thereby significantly reducing travel times to the capital. Construction costs are estimated to be around 1 billion Faroese króna. The 2007 Faroe Islands Premier League was the 65th annual competition since its establishment. In this championship, AB Argir and B71 Sandur were promoted from 1. deild. FK Lyn
Lyn 1896 Fotballklubb () is a Norwegian football club and a department of the sports club Ski- og Fotballklubben Lyn based in Oslo, whose members also participate in Nordic skiing and orienteering. Until 2010, SFK Lyn had two football departments, one professional section and one amateur section. After the professional football department, FK Lyn, was bankrupted in 2010, the fans decided to support the amateur department, Lyn Fotball, instead. With the help of some of the old FK Lyn players, Lyn Fotball has won three consecutive promotions, and are playing in the 3. divisjon. The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from la, Inter, 'between' + german: toto, 'betting pool'),Most precisely, from (football pool); cf. often abbreviated and more known in the German-speaking world as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup now directly enter the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point. Mathias Aaris Kragh Nielsen (born 2 March 1991) is a Danish footballer. He plays at centre-back for NSÍ Runavík. Nielsen has 1 youth cap for Denmark, playing for the Danish under-20s. A versatile player, Nielsen's preference is playing as a defensive midfielder, though mostly utilized at centre back and occasionally right back. Early life Mathias Nielsen spent his entire youth career with Herfølge Boldklub, joining the club at 4 years of age, he went on to sign a contract with this childhood club in the summer of 2007.
