Mathias Nielsen
Mathias Aaris Kragh Nielsen (born 2 March 1991) is a Danish footballer. He plays at centre-back for NSÍ Runavík. Nielsen has 1 youth cap for Denmark, playing for the Danish under-20s. A versatile player, Nielsen's preference is playing as a defensive midfielder, though mostly utilized at centre back and occasionally right back. Early life Mathias Nielsen spent his entire youth career with Herfølge Boldklub, joining the club at 4 years of age, he went on to sign a contract with this childhood club in the summer of 2007. During the winter he would play indoor football with the team's indoor division, playing as goalkeeper. When Herfølge BK merged with Køge BK, Nielsen was carried over in to the newly formed club HB Køge. Senior career F.C. Nordsjælland 1 July 2010 Nielsen moved to Superliga team F.C. Nuuk
Nuuk (; da, Nuuk, formerly ) is the capital and largest city of Greenland, a constituent country of the Kingdom of Denmark. Nuuk is the seat of government and the country's largest cultural and economic centre. The 2020–21 Danish Cup, also known as Sydbank Pokalen, was the 67th season of the Danish Cup competition. Randers defeated SønderjyskE in the final of the competition on 13 May 2021. As the winner of the tournament, Randers earned qualification into the play-off round of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa League. The 2010–11 Danish Cup was the 57th season of the Danish football cup competition. For the third year, the sponsor of the competition was Ekstra Bladet, a daily newspaper, who signed a 3-year contract with the Danish Football Association (DBU) in 2008, making the official name Ekstra Bladet Cup 2010–11. The competition opened on 9 August 2010 with the First Round and concluded on 22 May 2011 with the Final at the Parken Stadium. First round In this round entered 96 teams. There were 48 matches in the First Round, taking place between 9 and 17 August 2010. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. The final traditionally takes place on ''Kristi Himmelfarts Dag'' ( The Ascension) and it is always played in the Danish national stadium Parken. 2011–12 Danish 1st Division
The 2011–12 Danish 1st Division season is the 16th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It is set to start on 12 August 2011 with Viborg FF facing off against FC Hjørring. The final matches of the season are scheduled for 10 June 2012. This will be the only season with a fourteen-club First Division. As only one team will be promoted from the Second Divisions, the league will be reduced to twelve teams from the next season, switching to the same system as the Superliga with three round-robin rounds and two relegation spots. The division-champion and runners-up are promoted to the 2012–13 Danish Superliga. The teams in the 12th, 13th and 14th places are relegated to the 2012–13 Danish 2nd Divisions. The 2011–12 Danish Superliga season was the 22nd season of the Danish Superliga, which decided the Danish football championship. The season began on with OB, the previous season's runners-up playing the cup winners FC Nordsjælland. It concluded on with six simultaneous matches. F.C. Copenhagen were the defending champions, having won their ninth league championship and third consecutively last season. Since Denmark climbed from fifteenth to twelfth place in the UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2010–11 season, the 2011–12 league champions entered directly the group stage of the UEFA Champions League instead of having to compete in the qualifying rounds. It began on 17 July 2010 with the previous season's silver medalists from Odense facing Esbjerg and ended on 29 May 2011 with six simultaneous matches. F.C. Copenhagen secured the title when Odense lost 1-2 to Nordsjælland on 21 April 2011, for their ninth Danish championship. The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen.
