The Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) is a voluntary association of private institutions in Negros Occidental, Philippines that organizes athletic, cultural, and educational programs of many private high schools, colleges, and universities. Its headquarters is located in Panaad Park. The association's founding schools include Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod, University of St. La Salle, University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos, STI West Negros University, St. John's Institute and Riverside College. At present NOPSSCEA has 54 member-schools in the province. STI West Negros University
STI West Negros University, also referred to by its acronym STI WNU or colloquially as West Neg, is a private university located in Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines established in 1948. The university is accredited by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities - Commission On Accreditation (PACUCOA) as a level II school and awards degrees in associate, bachelor, master, and doctorate levels through its Colleges and School of Graduate Studies. It also offers complete basic education (pre-school, elementary & junior high school) through its School of Basic Education, formerly Integrated School (IS). Senior high school is being offered in the institution as well. STI West Negros University has an enrollment of about 10,000 students per semester and produces 1,500 graduates every school year. Panaad Stadium
The Panaad Stadium (), also sometimes spelled as Pana-ad, named after the park where the stadium is situated in, is a multi-purpose stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod, Philippines. Panaad hosted various international sporting events particularly football when Bacolod co-hosted the 2005 Southeast Asian Games and the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup qualification against Mongolia. The stadium was a former home to Ceres-Negros F.C. History The construction of Panaad started in August 1997 during the term of Gov. Lito Coscolluela.
