NK Neretva
Nogometni klub Neretva Metković ( en, Neretva Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Neretva or simply Neretva, is a Croatian professional Association football, football club based in the town of Metković, in the region of Dubrovnik-Neretva County. The club's first name was NK Narona. It was renamed to Neretva in 1994. Neretva reached the 1.HNL, Croatian first league in the 1994–95 season. The club supporters are called ''Blue White Killers (BWK)''. NK Neretva plays their home matches at the stadium ''Igralište iza Vage'', which has capacity of 3.000. They were briefly dissolved in 2017 for financial reasons. However, in July that year, a new club was formed under the same name. Derby Neretva contest the "El Clasico" with NK Neretvanac Opuzen. The Treća nogometna liga ( eng, Third football league), commonly Treća NL or 3. NL) is the fourth tier of the Croatian football league system, football league system. The league was reestablished in 2022 following the reconstruction of league system in Croatia. It is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. The Druga nogometna liga ( eng, Second football league), commonly Druga NL or 2. NL) is the third tier of the football league system. The league was established in 1991 following the dissolution of the Yugoslav League. It is operated by the Croatian Football Federation.
