Druga HNL
The Prva nogometna liga ( en, First football league), commonly Prva NL or 1. NL, is the second tier of the football league system in Croatia. The league was formed in 1991 with the breakup of Yugoslavia and the dissolution of the Yugoslav Second League. The 1. NL is operated by the Croatian Football Federation, which also was formed in 1991, contributing (along with the newly formed Football Association of Slovenia) to the dissolution of the Football Association of Yugoslavia. Between the 2001–02 season and 2005–06 season, the league was split in two divisions, one being the Northern Croatian Second League and the other being the Southern Croatian Second League. NK Neretvanac Opuzen
NK Neretvanac Opuzen is a Croatian football team from Opuzen founded in 1932 currently playing in the Treća HNL. Neretvanac played four seasons in the Croatian second division in the 1990s. The club is named after the river which runs through Opuzen. History In 1976, Neretvanac hosted Hajduk Split in a friendly organised after Opuzen fans sent in over 50,000 coupons to match sponsor Slobodna Dalmacija. Hajduk won 6:0 in front of 6,000 spectators, which was noted to be twice the number the population of Opuzen at the time. Neretvanac played in the Croatian second division from independence to 1995, when they finished last and were relegated. Croatia Zmijavci is a professional football club from Zmijavci, Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia, currently playing in the second division Druga HNL after their 2019 promotion. Zmijavci are one of several Dalmatian football teams with a development agreement with Hajduk Split, the largest football club in the area, having signed on in 2016. Radnički nogometni klub Split, commonly known as RNK Split, is a Croatian football club based in the city of Split. History The club had a strong fanbase in the Split's shipyard. The club was founded on 16 April 1912 as Anarch, but has had several names like Borac, Jug, HAŠK, Dalmatinac, and Arsenal since then. NK Jadran is a Croatian football club based in the city of Poreč. It was founded in 1948 by Croatian handball player Lujo Györy. History Jadran began play in the Croatian second division in 1992-93. Jadran won the 1996-97 3.HNL ''zapad'' (west) group. Jadran participated in the promotion playoffs for the 1.HNL in 1997-98 after winning the ''zapad'' (west) group, finishing second in their group and failing to advance.
