Livingston ( sco, Leivinstoun, gd, Baile Dhunlèibhe) is the largest town in West Lothian, Scotland. Designated in 1962, it is the fourth post-war new town to be built in Scotland. The Scottish Wide Area Network (SWAN) is the secure network for Scotland’s public services. More than 6,000 sites are connected by the network. After the tendering process concluded in March 2013, one of the parties launched a legal challenge, which was dropped in February 2014. The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) is the national blood, blood product and tissue provider. It makes up a Strategic Business Unit of NHS National Services Scotland (NSS).
