NCAA Season 92 Volleyball Tournaments
The volleyball tournaments of NCAA Season 92 started on November 14, 2016. The College of Saint Benilde is currently hosting the tournament. Games are played at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan, with two women's and men's games. The women's and men's semifinals' and finals' games are aired live by ABS-CBN Sports and Action and in High Definition on ABS-CBN Sports and Action HD 166. San Sebastian Stags
The San Sebastian Golden Stags (also known as SSC-R Stags) are the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) basketball team of the San Sebastian College – Recoletos. Their 5 consecutive NCAA seniors basketball championships was the longest streak in the NCAA. The other senior varsity teams may also be referred to as the Stags. The juniors team are the San Sebastian Staglets, while the women's team are the San Sebastian Lady Stags. NCAA Season 93 Volleyball Tournaments
The volleyball tournament of NCAA Season 93 started on January 4, 2018 at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan, Philippines. San Sebastian College – Recoletos (SSC–R) is the event host. All teams will participate in an elimination round which is a single round robin tournament. The top four teams qualify in the semifinals, where the unbeaten team bounces through the finals, with a thrice-to-beat advantage, higher-seeded team possesses the twice-to-beat advantage, or qualify to the first round. The winners qualify to the finals. UAAP Season 79 Volleyball Tournaments
The UAAP Season 79 volleyball tournaments started on February 4, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, with the opening games of the men and women's senior volleyball tourneys, participated by 8 regular UAAP members. Aside from the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the games will also be held at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City and the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay. The tournament host is the University of Santo Tomas, the season's host school. Rustico "Otie" Camangian will serve as the commissioner of the tournament. Aurea Francesca "Cesca" Racraquin (born October 5, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball player of the collegiate varsity volleyball team of San Beda College that plays in the NCAA. Cesca played for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League that debuted during the 2017 PVL Reinforced Conference. Career Racraquin won the NCAA Season 92 Rookie of the Year award before joining the Creamline Cool Smashers club that won the 2017 reinforced and open conferences' bronze medals. Grethcel Soltones (sometimes mistakenly named as Gretchel Soltones) (born September 9, 1995) is a Filipina volleyball player for the Petro Gazz Angels in the Premier Volleyball League. John Vic De Guzman
John Vic Ortiz De Guzman (born September 23, 1993) is a Filipino athlete, volleyball player, actor, and singer. Early life and education De Guzman lived in Laguna in his early years and became involved in various extracurricular activities. In his first year of high school, he was part of a band. In the next year, he became a dancer and, in his third year of high school studies, he started to play badminton. He attended the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde under a scholarship program.
