NAMCYA
The National Music Competitions for Young Artists Foundation or NAMCYA was founded in the Philippines in 1973. It was created by virtue of President Ferdinand Marcos' Presidential Proclamation No. 1173, which declares the period between November 26 and December 12 every year as National Week for Young Artists. The NAMCYA seeks to encourage young artists who excel in music composition and performance to preserve, develop, and promote Philippine music as an art and a handmaid of cultural development. The project aims to discover young artists in the field of choral singing, piano, chamber music, family ensemble, and indigenous instruments. Since 1973, the main sponsoring institution of the annual events has been the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) whose president sits as chairperson of the national committee which conducts the competitions. Ateneo De Manila College Glee Club
The Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club (ACGC), simply known as the Ateneo Glee Club, is a choir based in the Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines. It is distinguished as the oldest university chorale in the Philippines, celebrating its 98th season in 2018. It has held concerts internationally, and has released several albums with songs genres ranging from classical music, Classical, Negro spiritual, sacred music, Sacred choral works, as well as pop music, Pop, and Original Pilipino Music, OPM. The University of the Philippines Singing Ambassadors, also known as the UP Singing Ambassadors or UPSA, is one of the major performing musical groups based at the University of the Philippines Diliman (UP-Diliman) in Quezon City, Philippines. UPSA is the State University's official performing group for choreographed choral music and resident choir of the UP College of Arts and Letters. The UPSA has performed music from different styles: classical music, international songs, spirituals, ethnic, Broadway, pop, jazz, gospel, inspirational songs and rock. A tenor is a type of classical music, classical male singing human voice, voice whose vocal range lies between the countertenor and baritone voice types. It is the highest male chest voice type. Saint Louis University (; tl, Pamantasan ng San Luis) also referred to by its acronym SLU, is a private Catholic research basic and higher education institution run by the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Baguio, Philippines. Loboc Children's Choir
Loboc, officially the Municipality of Loboc ( ceb, Munisipalidad sa Loboc; tgl, Bayan ng Loboc), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 17,418 people. Located east of Tagbilaran, Loboc is widely known for its lunch cruises along the scenic and winding Loboc River. The Loboc Children's Choir, who perform in different floating stations located at the river's end, has won numerous competitions both domestic and international. Choral

Soprano
A soprano () is a type of classical female singing voice and has the highest vocal range of all voice types. Joey Corpus
Joey Corpus (born Jorge Corpus; 19 March 1957 – 9 December 2017) was a Filipino-American violinist and violin teacher. Born in Manila, Corpus was the oldest sibling in a family of six children. His father Hector Corpus was an amateur jazz musician, and both of his grandfathers were violinists. At age 11, a car accident took the life of his mother, Anita Corpus (née Aguilar), and left Corpus a paraplegic. His uncle was the artist Federico Aguilar Alcuaz, and Corpus had planned to start a career as a visual artist. At age 14, Corpus began to teach himself the violin. He also took instruction from such teachers as Luis Valencia and Nelly Soregi, and additional advice from his amateur violinist uncle on his father's side. He won a violin competition at age 15, which brought him to the attention of Edgar Schenkman of the Juilliard School.
