MŠK Žilina
MŠK Žilina () is a Slovak football club based in the town of Žilina, that is playing in the Slovak Superliga. Since the league inception in 1993, the club has won 7 titles and comes second in All-time table that makes them one of the most successful teams in the competition. The club and their supporters alike are nicknamed ''Šošoni'' (after the '' Shoshone'' Native American tribe) and play their home games in the Štadión pod Dubňom. In the 2016–17 season, Žilina won the Slovak League. History Early years The club was founded towards the end of 1908 under the Hungarian name ''Zsolnai Testgyakorlók Köre'', and was officially registered on 20 June 1909. ŠK Slovan Bratislava (, "Bratislava Slav") is a football club based in Bratislava, Slovakia, that plays in the Slovak Super Liga. Founded as 1. ČsŠK Bratislava in 1919, the club changed its name to Slovan Bratislava in 1953. Slovan is the most successful team in Slovakia with the most titles in both league and cup in the country. Leoš Kalvoda
Leoš Kalvoda (born 26 March 1958) is a Czech football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of MFK Frýdek-Místek in the Czech First League. As a player, he played in the Czechoslovak First League for Sigma Olomouc. As a manager, he has had a number of clubs, including spells in the Gambrinus liga with Sigma Olomouc and Hradec Králové. Arguably his greatest achievement to date is winning the Slovak Super Liga in 2002 with Slovak side Žilina. Playing career As a player, Kalvoda could play as either a defender or midfielder. During the 1980s he played for Sigma Olomouc in the Czechoslovak First League, scoring 17 goals in 180 league matches. Ladislav Jurkemik (born 20 July 1953) is a former Slovak football player and later a football manager. He played in the Czechoslovak First League for Inter Bratislava and Dukla Banská Bystrica. Jurkemik played internationally for Czechoslovakia; he played a total of 57 matches and scored 3 goals. He managed Slovakia in 2002 and 2003. Playing career Jurkemik played in his domestic Czechoslovak First League from 1973 to 1984, with two periods at Inter Bratislava interrupted by the 1980–81 season, which he spent at Dukla Banská Bystrica. He subsequently went to the Swiss league, where he played for FC St. Gallen. Jurkemik was involved in three major tournaments as a player of Czechoslovakia.
