"Mysterious Times" is a song by German production group Sash! featuring British singer Tina Cousins. It was released on 1 August 1998 as the second single from their second album, '' Life Goes On'' (1998). The song peaked at number two in the United Kingdom, giving Sash! their fourth number-two single. In the United States, it peaked at number 11 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart. Critical reception Jon O'Brien from AllMusic stated that "Mysterious Times" is "arguably his best single", describing it as a "subtle attempt at progressive house." A reviewer from '' Daily Record'' commented, "Dance guru Sash! is in disappointing form here as he takes his production expertise to a previously undiscovered level of bland." The newspaper also complimented Cousins' "melodramatic vocals" on the track. (; stylised as SASH!) is a German DJ/production team, fronted by Sascha Lappessen (born 10 June 1970) who works in the recording studio with Ralf Kappmeier, Karl Xander, and Thomas "Alisson" Lüdke. Nic Chagall (born Claus Terhoeven; 10 November 1972 in Krefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany ) is a German trance music producer and DJ best known for being one half of the German trance duo Cosmic Gate. Cosmic Gate is a German DJ duo consisting of trance music producers Claus Terhoeven (born 1972) and Stefan Bossems (born 1967). Both hail from Krefeld, Germany. On October 28, 2009, ''DJ Magazine'' announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, with Ultra Records artist Cosmic Gate placed #19, 43 spots above the group's ranking the year before.
