Mylene Paat
Mylene Balan Paat (born April 5, 1994) is a Filipino professional volleyball player. She currently plays for Nakhon Ratchasima of the Women's Volleyball Thailand League. She also represents the Philippines women's national volleyball team. At the collegiate level, she played for the Adamson Lady Falcons indoor volleyball and beach volleyball teams. Early life Mylene Paat was raised in Luac, Bani, Pangasinan, to parents Dante G. Paat and Ligaya B. Paat. Mylene has 4 siblings. Career 2013-2014 Mylene Paat debut as a rookie of Adamson Women's Volleyball team on the year 2013-2014 wherein the UAAP Season 76 is being held. It is a good start for her in the UAAP as their team defeated the Lady Tamaraws of the Far Eastern University in the Fourth-seed play-offs. Bani, officially the Municipality of Bani ( pag, Baley na Bani; ilo, Ili ti Bani; tgl, Bayan ng Bani), is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 52,603 people. The town, dubbed as the "Golden West" in the 1960s and early 1970s, is named after the Bani tree which could be found in the Poblacion. History Bani was founded on March 18, 1769 (from Zambales). In May 1903, it was transferred to Pangasinan together with the towns of Agno, Alaminos, Anda, Bolinao, Burgos, Dasol, Infanta and Mabini. San Simon, the original Bani, was transferred from Namagbagan to sitio Almacin in 1859. The Immaculate Conception, Patron Saint of San Simon, disappeared from the church altar and discovered on top of the tall Bani tree in the vicinity of the present Church. The Choco Mucho Flying Titans is a professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League. The team is owned by the Republic Biscuit Corporation. History The team was created by the Republic Biscuit Corporation for the 2019 Premier Volleyball League season acquiring the seniors of the 2019 Ateneo Lady Eagles volleyball team together with their coach, Oliver Almadro who won UAAP Season 81 volleyball tournaments. The United VC was a professional women's volleyball team in the Philippine Superliga (PSL). Established in 2017, the club debuted under the sponsorship of United Coconut Planters Life Assurance Corporation (COCOLIFE) and played as the COCOLIFE Asset Managers from the 2017 to 2018 seasons. 2018 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship
The 2018 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship was the 19th edition of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, an international volleyball club tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with the Volleyball Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (VFRK). It was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan from 11 to 18 July 2018. The tournament served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship with the champion qualifying for the World Championship. The Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors were a professional women's volleyball team that played in the Premier Volleyball League. The Petron Blaze Spikers were a professional women's volleyball team that played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) from 2013 to 2020. After the cancellation of the 2020 season of the PSL due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the team took a leave of absence from the league and released all its players. The team was owned by Petron Corporation. The company's involvement in volleyball began in 2002 when it established the Petron Ladies Beach Volleyball Tournament.
