The Music Victoria Awards of 2020 are the 15th Annual Music Victoria Awards and consist of a series of awards, presented on 8 December 2020. For the first time, an ''Outstanding Woman in Music Award'' and ''Best Producer Award'' will be awarded. Hall of Fame inductees * Mary Mihelakos and Chris Wilson Mary Mihelakos has worked the across the entire spectrum of the industry – running her own PR company, booking a wide range of venues, music editor of ''Beat'', the Sticky Carpet columnist for ''The Age'' and running the Music Victoria Awards for a number of years. Mihelakos mortgaged her home to co-deliver the first Aussie BBQ showcases at SXSW – an initiative now adopted for industry events around the world to spotlight Australian acts. RVG (band)
RVG (an acronym of Romy Vager Group) are an Australian rock band from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in 2015. The band's current line-up is composed of Romy Vager on vocals and lead guitar, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Reuben Bloxham, bassist Isabele Wallace and drummer Marc Nolte. Original bassist Angus Bell was part of the band from its inception until 2019, being replaced briefly by Siahn Davis before Wallace joined as a permanent fixture later that year. RVG have released three studio albums to date: ''A Quality of Mercy'' (2017), ''Feral'' (2020) and ''Brain Worms'' (2023). Angie McMahon is an Australian singer-songwriter and musician from Melbourne, Victoria. McMahon released her debut studio album ''Salt'' in 2019. Big Scary is an Australian musical duo formed in Melbourne in 2006, by Tom Iansek and Joanna Syme. The pair have released several EPs and five studio albums. Jen Cloher
Jen Cloher (born 9 October 1973) is an Australian singer, songwriter, and record producer, currently based in Melbourne, Victoria. Cloher's 2017 self-titled fourth studio album peaked at number 5 on the ARIA Charts. From 2006 to 2010, Cloher recorded and toured with her band Jen Cloher and the Endless Sea and since 2013 has released with Mia Dyson and Liz Stringer music under the name Dyson Stringer Cloher.
