Mundo De Fieras (Mexican TV Series)
''Mundo de fieras'' (English: ''Love and Cruelty'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Salvador Mejía Alejandre for Televisa that premiered on July 31, 2006, and ended on January 19, 2007. It is a remake of the Venezuelan telenovela '' Mundo de fieras'', produced in 1991. César Évora had a dual role as protagonist/main antagonist, together with Venezuelan actress Gaby Espino, while Edith González, Helena Rojo and Michelle Vieth starred as main antagonists. Ernesto Laguardia, Azela Robinson, Laura Flores, René Casados, Sebastián Rulli, Sara Maldonado and the leading actress Carmen Salinas starred as stellar performances. ''Mundo de Fieras'' (English title:World of Beasts) is a Venezuelan telenovela written by Ligia Lezama for Venevisión. The telenovela premiered on Venevisión on March 6, 1991 and ran for 239 episodes until March 4, 1992 where it achieved a significant amount of success in Venezuela. The telenovela was distributed internationally by Venevisión International. It is a remake of the 1994 Colombian telenovela '' Café, con aroma de mujer''. Several cameras—either film cameras, film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition.
