William "Bucky" Baxter (1955May 25, 2020) was an American guitarist. He is best known as a member of Steve Earle and The Dukes and as a member of Bob Dylan's backing band in the mid-90s during the Never Ending Tour. He released his only solo album, ''Most Likely, No Problem'', in 1999. Early life Baxter was born in Melbourne, Florida, in 1955. He started learning how to play pedal steel guitar in the 1970s. In the following decade, he met Steve Earle and played in the latter's debut album, '' Guitar Town'', in 1986. Career Baxter was a founding member of The Dukes, Earle's backing band. He subsequently featured in three other albums by Earle – ''Exit 0'' (1987), ''Copperhead Road'' (1988) and '' The Hard Way'' (1990) – providing vocals and guitar. Herman Brad Baxter (born May 5, 1967) is a former professional American football running back who played in the National Football League from 1989 to 1995. Drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the eleventh round of the 1989 NFL Draft, Baxter failed to make the team but caught on with the New York Jets. After not seeing the field in 1989 Baxter, the team’s starting fullback, made his mark in 1990 by rushing for 539 yards on 124 carries in ten starts. Joan Maureen "Biddy" Baxter, MBE (born 25 May 1933) is a British television producer, best known for editing the long-running BBC TV children's magazine show '' Blue Peter'' from 1965 to 1988. As editor of the programme, Baxter devised much of the format that is still used today.
