Sandy Springs, Georgia
Sandy Springs is a city in northern Fulton County, Georgia and an inner ring suburb of Atlanta. The city's population was 108,080 at the 2020 census, making it Georgia's seventh-largest city. It is the site of several corporate headquarters, including UPS, Newell Brands, Inspire Brands, Focus Brands, Cox Enterprises, and Mercedes-Benz USA's corporate offices. The Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford, commonly known as the d.school, is a design thinking institute based at Stanford University. David M. Kelley and Bernard Roth founded the program. James Alton Banks III (born January 16, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Texas Legends of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Texas Longhorns. In 2020-21 he led the Israel Basketball Premier League in blocked shots per game. Amin Khalil Stevens (born October 26, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Ironi Kiryat Ata of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Before his professional career, he played college basketball for Florida A&M. In 2013 he won the Slovak Basketball Cup with MBK Rieker Komárno. In 2017, he was named the Úrvalsdeild Foreign Player of the Year after leading the league in scoring and rebounds.
