A volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary-mass object, such as Earth, that allows hot lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface. Upi, officially the Municipality of Upi (Maguindanao language, Maguindanaon: ''Inged nu Upi''; Iranun language, Iranun: ''Inged a Upi''; tl, Bayan ng Upi), is a 1st class municipality of the Philippines, municipality in the Philippine Province, province of Maguindanao del Norte, Philippines.
