Montforter Zwischentöne
Montforter Zwischentöne (literally: ''Intermediate tones of Montfort'') is a contemporary festival for arts, science and dialogue in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg (Austria). It was founded in 2015. History The Montforter Zwischentöne festival was founded in 2015 by the city of Feldkirch on the occasion of the opening of the newly built Montforthaus Feldkirch. For the establishment of the festival, an association of the same name had been founded. The festival is sponsored by the corresponding association, funded by the city of Feldkirch and the state of Vorarlberg. The first edition (2015) was called „Anfangen: über das Beginnen“ (''"Starting: on beginning"''). Programme and content Montforter Zwischentöne takes place on three weekends a year. Each series of events revolves around a certain topic by means of artistic and dramaturgical interpretations of everyday culture. Poolbar Festival
The Poolbar Festival is an annual music and culture festival in the city of Feldkirch in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg. Between 20,000 and 25,000 visitors attend the festival each year. The POTENTIALe Messe & Festival is an arts fair and festival in Feldkirch in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg. It was first held in 2007. At the fair and festival, about 110 exhibitors present their products and ideas on an exhibition space of 3.373 m². In addition to a vintage market, there are workshops and discussion groups, a 'design laboratory', photography exhibitions, as well as the presentation of music and films. Hugo Von Montfort
Hugo von Montfort (1357 – 4 April 1423) was an Austrian minstrel of the Late Middle Ages. Life Hugo VII was a scion of the comital house of Montfort at Bregenz, head of an old and influential Swabian family of nobles, holding numerous high administrative posts. By his mother Countess Ursula of Ferrette (''Pfirt''), he was related with the Austrian House of Habsburg. About 1373 he married the Styrian countess Margaret, granddaughter of Count Ulrich V of Pfannberg and widow of Count Hans of Cilli. With his wife's estates around Pfannberg in the Mur valley, he vastly increased the area controlled by the House of Montfort.
