Montenegrin Second League Of Men's Handball
The Montenegrin Second League of Men's Handball is the lower Men's handball league in Montenegro. It is organized by the Handball Federation of Montenegro. The league has seven teams. It's one and the lower of the three official men's handball competitions in Montenegro - other are Montenegrin First League and Cup of Montenegro. The winner of the Second League gets promotion to the First League. Second placed team is playing playoffs against seventh placed team from the First League. RK Danilovgrad
Rukometni klub Danilovgrad is a handball club from Danilovgrad. The club has a rich history and tradition and is a member of Montenegrin Men's Handball First League. History For the most of the past, Danilovgrad played in the Montenegrin Republic League, with few seasons in the Second League. After the Montenegrin independence, club became a member of Second League, and gained the historical promotion to the Montenegrin First League in the summer 2009. RK Rudar Pljevlja
Rukometni klub Rudar is a Montenegrin handball club from Pljevlja, that plays in Montenegrin First Handball League. History Formed in 1957, RK Rudar was one of the leading Montenegrin handball clubs in SFR Yugoslavia. It was the first Montenegrin handball club which participated in Yugoslav First League, during the season 1964/65. After the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia, RK Rudar was renamed into ''RK Pljevlja'' and during the decade played in the Second League - 'West'. Because in Pljevlja didn't exist a big sports hall, club played their home games in Podgorica, Nikšić, Berane, Tivat, Priboj or Užice. At the start of 21st century, in 2001, in Pljevlja was built Sports hall Ada, with capacity of 3,000 seats. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. Berane
Berane ( cyrl, Беране) is one of the largest towns of northeastern Montenegro and a former administrative centre of the Ivangrad District. The town is located on the Lim river. From 1949 to 1992, it was named Ivangrad ( cyrl, Иванград) in honour to people's hero Ivan Milutinović. Andrijevica ( Montenegrin Cyrillic: Андријевица, ) is a town and the seat of Andrijevica Municipality in eastern Montenegro. According to the 2011 census, it has a population of 1,048. History The town of Andrijevica is a relatively new settlement, as its first rudiments begin in the middle of the nineteenth century. RK Komovi
Rukometni klub Komovi is a Montenegrin handball club from Andrijevica, that plays in Montenegrin First Handball League. History Founded at the end of sixties, RK Komovi played first official games in Montenegrin Republic League, which was the third-tier competition in SFR Yugoslavia. Until the Montenegrin independence (2006), team from Andrijevica mostly played in the lowest rank, except the very few seasons during the nineties, spent in the Second League of FR Yugoslavia.
