''Monomania'' (stylized as ''MØNØMANIA'') is the sixth studio album by American metalcore band The Word Alive. It was released on February 21, 2020, through Fearless Records. It was produced by the band themselves and Erik Ron. It is the last album to feature the band's drummer Matt Horn and founding guitarist Tony Pizzuti before they left the band in October 2021. It is also their last album to be released on this label before the band signed to Thriller Records in 2022. Background and promotion On November 1, 2019, the band released the lead single from the album titled "Burning Your World Down". On January 10, 2020, the band released the second single and title track "Monomania" along with an accompanying music video. The Word Alive
The Word Alive is an American metalcore band formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2008. The band was signed to Fearless Records since their formation. In 2022, they changed their label and signed to Thriller Records. The band currently consists of vocalist Tyler Smith and guitarist Zack Hansen. The group has had several line-up changes throughout their career, with Hansen as the only remaining founding member. Their second EP, ''Empire'' reached No. 15 on the Top Heatseekers, meeting a great amount of positive acclaim upon its release in 2009. The following year, the group recorded and released their debut studio album, '' Deceiver'' on August 31, 2010, which reached No. 97 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and 15 on Independent Albums. Fearless Records is an American independent record label that was founded in 1994. Erik Ron (born July 4, 1985) is an American producer, mixer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He has worked with artists such as Panic! at the Disco, Set It Off, Issues, New Years Day, Too Close to Touch, I the Mighty, Motionless In White, Blessthefall, I See Stars, Sylar, Attila, and Godsmack. Life and career Early years Erik Ron was born in San Francisco, California, and grew up in the suburb of San Carlos, California, where he attended Carlmont High School. ''Violent Noise'' is the fifth studio album by American metalcore band The Word Alive. It was released on May 4, 2018, through Fearless Records. The album was produced by Matt Good and it is also the first album to feature Matt Horn as an official member, previously having played on the band's second album '' Life Cycles'' as a session member. It is the first release from the band under Thriller Records. Metalcore

Tyler Smith (born August 9, 1986), also known by his nickname Telle, is an American musician and songwriter. He is currently the lead vocalist of Arizona metalcore band The Word Alive and has played in several bands, such as Greeley Estates and In Fear and Faith. He is known for his tenor singing voice, wide vocal range and ability to comprehensively alternate between melodic and screamed vocals. Musical career Smith joined In Fear and Faith as one of their two lead vocalists in May 2007 to replace founding vocalist Jarred DeArmas. Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''.
